Filipa Amorim is a Post-doctoral researcher at DCEA FCT NOVA University. Her present research activity is focused in the project CLIM2POWER - Translating climate data into power plants operational guidance (2017-2020).
Filipa has 10 years of research experience in electricity markets, in regulatory issues and in techno-economic modelling tools and has participated in national and international research projects with utilities, government bodies and universities. Also, she has several years of experience in projects management.
Filipa holds a PhD in Sustainable Energy Systems from IST and ISEG University of Lisbon under MIT Portugal Program, a Post-Graduate Degree in Communication and Image from IADE School of Creativity and a Graduate Degree in Economics from the Faculty of Economics University of Coimbra.
