Pedro Clemente


Graduated in the Faculty of Science and Technology, New University of Lisbon with a Master degree in Environmental Engineering - Management and Environmental Systems. I am currently a PhD student at the Doctoral Program on Globalization Studies, doing research on transboundary protected areas effectiveness and governance. I am a member of the Young Ecosystem Services Specialists (YESS) network, within the Ecosystem Services Partnership (ESP) and a member of the IUCN WCPA Transboundary Specialist Group. I have past experience working on biodiversity conservation and ecosystem services, mostly through EU projects (SCALES, POLICMIX and OpenNESS) and I am currently working as researcher in the Project “Evaluation of the Use and Socioeconomic Impact of the Rota Vicentina”.
