Biography
Luís is a PhD Student on Doctoral Program Global Studies, doing research on City transitions to a sustainable and self-sufficient future. He has experience in national and local energy systems and analysis of new energy technologies in different climate change mitigation policy scenarios. He has robust knowledge in energy-environment-economy modelling at national and local scale. He has also developed diverse studies for policy decision support on atmospheric pollutant emission targets. He has an MSc in Environmental Engineering on Integrated Analysis of Climate Change and Air Quality Policies with TIMES_PT model and a BSc. in Environmental Engineering, both from NOVA University Lisbon.
