"Science and Public Policy: How to build bridges".
Sixteen CENSE members participated in a workshop on "Science and Public Policy: How to build bridges", which took place on April 2, 2024, at NOVA FCT. This workshop was promoted by PlanAPP - Competence Centre for Planning, Policy, and Foresight in Public Administration, in the scope of the collaboration with the Associate Laboratory CHANGE – Institute for Global Change and Sustainability. Issues such as the importance of collaboration between the researchers and governmental sectors were addressed, as well as best practices for influencing public policies based on scientific evidence and promoting effective communication between scientists and policymakers.
